★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 787 reviews · 7 hours · from $128

A 7-hour Porto day trip with a Douro River boat cruise, scenic train ride, Quinta winery tasting, and a regional lunch.

“What a great day! The sun finally came out after days of rain, which added to the beautiful richness of the Douro valley. After the winery tour (and Port tasting) and the boat tour, we had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Pinhau. We had such a good time, no one wanted to leave. Our guide, Vitor, had a great sense of humour and was a wealth of information, keeping a running commentary of facts of the region and Portugal in general. Unfortunately the train ride had to be canceled due to the weather, but our day and enjoyment did not suffer because of it. Thank you Vitor…”

A smooth Duoro day trip from Porto with train and boat time, a winery tasting, and lunch included, all wrapped in top views.

“This is a long day but fun and informative. The first quinto was so laid back and relaxed as we tatsed wines and port. Just wonderful . Had a great area for a 14 month old to run around without issue. Solar dos dragos. The second winery was Croft which is a big company in the port world. Learned a few things and tasted some port. Not as impressive as the first winery. Next was lunch which was late and a bit confused i think due to waitstaff shortages but food was fine . Wine was fine and the port explanation and tasting was excellent. Quinto de Bejo was the last…”

Faro: City Sightseeing Tourist Train

7.City Sightseeing Tourist Train

★★★★★★★★★★2.4 · 123 reviews · 45 min · from $7

Take a 45-minute Faro loop by tourist train, with audio in multiple languages, church stops, and views near Ria Formosa.

“Too noisy in the train to hear the narration and the sound system was so fuzzy you couldn’t have heard it anyways. No building was brought to our attention it was just a ride on a small train with uncomfortable seats. I recommend the company to at least improve your sound system and consider a different area to tour. No one in the tour with us enjoyed it.”
