“It was a great tour. We had lots of authentic Portuguese food and drink, and lots of great historical information as we walked. Based on other food and wine tours we have been on, I was surprised at the amount of alcohol that was included. Our guides were excellent and although our group was quite large (15 people), José made everyone feel included.”

Porto’s best street-smart food-and-wine walk, with Bolhão Market, classic bites, and Port plus ginjinha, plus optional Francesinha and piri-piri.

“Underwhelmed by the tour. Disappointed with most of the foods provided. The first stop was a neighborhood place that served cabbage soup that was mostly water with a dried up chorizo in the soup. The bacalao was cold, not tasty as d the biffana’s meat was chewy and not seasoned at all. Next stop was coffee and pasteis the nata which was good. Next was walking through the bolhaus market but no tastings, next was the best stop - a bodega that served us wine and a charcuterie board. Next was a stop at a store and we had a chocolate shot with ginjinha and last stop was port tasting.…”
